Budget Plan and Assistance
The Budget Payment Plan is a free service that aids in financial planning. The payment plan puts an end to fluctuating utility bills that result from winter heating and summer cooling. This is accomplished by dividing a customer's estimated annual utility charges into 12 equal payments. This designated amount is payable each month regardless of the actual monthly amount. In order to achieve the most accurate budget billing amount, CFU highly recommends that customers have 12 months of usage history before signing up for this service. CFU Credit Services personnel are also available to consult with customers who may find it difficult at times to pay their utility bills. This service may include referrals to local agencies who can provide assistance to meet emergency situations. The number for assistance is 268-5281.
